Keith M. Eig, CLU, CLTC began his insurance career in 1989 with Phoenix Home Life in the Washington, DC office. He was named General Agents and Managers Association’s (GAMA) “Rookie of the Year” in 1989. In 1998, he began his affiliation with the M Financial Group. In 2003, he joined Scott Greenberg and David Wexler as a partner in Greenberg, Wexler & Eig, LLC. Keith specializes in individual insurance planning, long-term care insurance, and serves as the firm’s Managing Partner.
Keith has been active in the insurance industry and has been a member of NAIFA-GW since 1990, serving as President in 2005-2006. In 2009, he was the 62nd recipient of the Bernard L. Wilner Award, an honor given by the Greater Washington Foundation of Insurance and Financial Advisors in recognition of high standards of conduct and service to the industry and the community.
Currently, Keith serves on the board of the Washington Home, a private foundation (originally founded in 1888) that supports organizations that serve elderly, chronically ill and terminal people. The Washington Home also supports efforts to eliminate food insecurity and social isolation. Keith serves as co-chair of the Community Engagement Committee, which approves all of the grants. Keith is the former Chairman of the Golf Committee and Greens and Grounds Committee at Woodmont Country Club.
Keith has four children, ten grandchildren and lives in Potomac, MD with his wife, Andra. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, fishing, traveling and the Washington Capitals.
